1840 historic building newly renovated in Scottish Victorian theme achieving 4 stars

The building was constructed in 1840 for a mercantile store. Over the years it has served as a post office, bank, masonic lodge, a tea room and a hardware store. Ken and Joan aquired the building in April 1998 and have been carrying out extensive renovations to convert it into a 4 star Bed & Breakfast Inn with many compliments from guests and locals alike who can not believe what has been accomplished in only two years. An album of "before" and "after" pictures is on display.

Featured in September 2002 Canadian Home and Country magazine under Renovation Heroes.

The Inn is located one block from Georgetown Harbour , which is a deep water harbour and its principal use is for lobster fishing and recreational boating. It is one of the finest sheltered harbours on the East Coast which does not freeze in winter or need dredging.
