Summer Garden is an open post and beam house on over 100 acres of land on the South Shore of Prince Edward Island.

Breakfast can be taken in the open dining room, the sun porch, or the upstairs veranda. The large living room is an excellent place to relax and look out over the fruit trees and roses. You are welcome to browse our extensive book, music, and video libraries, and there is a trunk full of games to amuse.

Start your days with delicious and varied full breakfasts of German apple pancake, blintzes, stuffed French toast and crepes, cream scones, Joe's spelt pancakes with fruit and yogurt, omelettes, Spanish tortilla, seasonal fresh fruit, freshly ground organic fairly traded coffees, and yes---strawberry shortcake for breakfast!

The menu changes every day so there are other pleasant surprises along the way. We are the former owners (25 years) of PEI's first and largest natural, imported, and specialty food store. We focus on organic, fresh, local foods and encourage special diet requests.
